At The STEAM School, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students and staff above all else. That's why we were thrilled to welcome Helping Hands CPR & First Aid for a private training session right here on our campus.
In March, our dedicated teachers gathered to participate in an intensive CPR & First Aid class led by certified instructors. The session wasn't just about ticking boxes—it was an opportunity to equip our team with life-saving skills and knowledge that could make all the difference in an emergency.
But we didn't stop there. Recognizing the importance of preparedness for everyone in our community, we extended the invitation to students from the upper grades to join the training as well. These students eagerly embraced the opportunity to learn alongside their teachers and emerged from the class with valuable certifications in hand.
From basic life support techniques to administering first aid in critical situations, the training covered a wide range of essential skills. Our teachers and students immersed themselves in hands-on practice scenarios, gaining confidence and competence with each new skill mastered.
As a result of this training, our school community is now better equipped to handle emergencies with calm and efficiency. Whether it's a minor injury on the playground or a more serious medical situation, we are prepared to act swiftly and decisively to ensure the safety and well-being of all.
