Nature School Visits the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center

We had an amazing time at the BRWC. We met so many awesome animal ambassadors. We learned about nocturnal and crepuscular animals. Bear the Striped Skunk and Muffins the Virginia Opossum snacked on some meal worms and vegetables while the educators talked to use about their special adaptations. Then we headed outdoors where we met a Great Horned Owl, a Peragrine Falcon, a Black and a Turkey Vulture, a kestrela Red-Tailed Hawk, a fish crow as well a Red Fox. We also met many other species that were hanging out in the classroom.
