Friendsgiving

On Thursday, all of STEAM School was invited to participate in a Friendsgiving lunch. So many families joined in the fun, bringing a delicious dish to share.

Long tables were set up for communal eating and the whole place was abuzz with conversation.

Our Monday students helped prepare for the festivities. The PreK/K class made applesauce to share. The 1st-4th graders created decorative pumpkins in Art class. And in History and Civics classes, our 5th and above crew designed their own decorative crafts for the occasion.

Kids and their grownups mingled. Students who don’t attend on the same class day were able to eat and play together. The food was delicious and plentiful.

We, as a community, are endlessly grateful for each and every one of the families who participate in this precious homeschool co-op. This village is a gift and a safe haven where students are valued exactly as they are and learning new things is approached as a privilege and joy we get to do together. Thank you to each and every one of you, from the bottom of our hearts here at STEAM!
