MSV-Scraposaurs!
We are so excited for this trip and to go back to the gardens at the MSV. We plan on enjoying a picnic before hand in the Picnic Mounds at 11:30. What to expect:
Friday, April 4 from 12:30-2:00. We will meet everyone in the lobby to do introductions, give everyone a chance to use the restroom, and go over the plan for the day before we get started.
After our orientation time, we will head to the gardens to check out our new exhibition: Scraposaurs! I am so excited for everyone to get a chance to see it. It is so cool! Your tour will last about 90 minutes.
To help you better prepare for your day, some museum policies to be aware of are as follows:
If your students would like to sketch or take photos, we have a pencils only and non-flash photography policy in museum buildings.
Tours and activities last 90 minutes. Research and our own experience have proven that shorter tour times allow for better learning experiences in museums. If you have time remaining after the tour, you are welcome to visit our trails for a self-guided experience. Museum staff will be happy to give you a map and an overview of the trails.
Student tour groups may not visit the museum store during the tour. It is not so much a souvenir shop as it is an artist gallery and space is extremely limited. Please advise your students that they may come back to the museum at another time if they would like to shop.
