Shenandoah River State Park

We enjoyed a beautiful day at the park. The rangers taught us about the different birds that live in the park and what foods they eat. Students had to figure out what foods the birds ate based on their beak size and shape. They were all assigned a bird and set out to find food.

We visited the visitor center and saw many taxidermied birds and animals. After lunch we had a nice hike to the overlook.
