We had a wonderful trip to the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley to see the Gardens of Glass Museum. We learned that the artist, Craig Mitchell Smith used shrinky dinks to plan out his sculptures. We got a chance to make our own shrinky dink flowers.
After a lunch break we headed into the museum to check out the works of Charlie and Edie Harper. They really demonstrated lines and shape elements that we’ve been discussing in class.
